Canon PowerShot D20 - for Hawaii

First photo using the new toy.
Lily was not that interested in modeling this morning.
The photos below were taken with my Canon SLR Rebel XT.  The Rebel is over five years old.  I love this camera, except it is big and bulky.

The colour is bluer using the PowerShot, but truer with the Rebel as the camera is turquoise blue and black.
I used the macro setting and defused the flash by putting a white sheet of paper in front of it.
The new camera is waterproof, shockproof and freezeproof.  It can record video in full HD 1080p.  We are flying to Hawaii next week.  It should be excellent for our ocean activities.  As Doug pointed out, the only drawback, is that it does not float.  The Canon PowerShot D20 has a locking strap like a WII remote.

Happy Easter Monday all.

  2. Tammy! I hope you tell us how it goes with the new camera in Hawaii. Are you planning on using it underwater? I would love to hear if it meets your expectations.
